Summary
The "You've Got Mail" AU no one asked for! While Raleigh's working on the Wall, he starts trading emails with a guy he met on a now-defunct academy message board. They tacitly agree to not give away any details of their lives, mostly because... they're both jaeger pilots (one disgraced and one too full of himself for his own good), and they would both be almost universally recognized if they did, which would ruin the whole "secret confidante" thing they have working for them.
Then, Stacker Pentecost starts putting his final plan into motion, and suddenly, the two pen pals are both in Hong Kong. The events of the movie play out as scripted, with one exception: Chuck lives. And he finds out who his pen pal really is.

Summary
Chuck never expects to survive Operation Pitfall. And he certainly doesn't expect Raleigh Becket, of all people, to care when it turns out that Chuck has somehow cheated death. It doesn't take long for Chuck to realise that living and surviving isn't exactly the same thing however — especially not with permanent damage he will carry with him for the rest of his life.
But maybe, just maybe, he can find ways to make it worthwile. Raleigh seems quite interested in the job, if nothing else.

Summary
The world around him went hazy except for the boy standing before him as his words swirled around on repeat in Keith’s mind. Let’s go out… Let’s go out… Let’s go out… Keith gave a short nod and managed to follow after Lance despite not feeling the ground beneath him.
The walk brought Keith back to that Monday where things changed between them.
Just a few days ago thoughts of Lance only brought to mind pranks and fights and annoyance. Keith may have gotten to know Lance well, understanding his personality behind all their bickering, but he never really got to know Lance. He didn’t think about him past ‘that annoying guy who thinks he’s sooo funny’, not until Lance exposed an underlayer himself, and the rest made itself clear in between the lines of all their fights.

Not a super accurate summary, but this is a cute love story between Peter and Wendy, my catalyst into the fandom.
