“Wh– well– why–” James stammered, attempting to get his bearings, because if he didn’t, and he let Regulus tell him ‘kiss me’ one more time, his heart would probably give out. “Why don’t you get Sirius to help?”
Regulus narrowed his eyes. “Because Sirius would just knock his teeth out,” he said as though it were obvious.
“Yes,” James hissed, “and he’ll knock my teeth out if I kiss his little brother.”
“You can take a hit, Potter, I’ve seen you on the quidditch pitch,” Regulus waved him off, and James groaned, leaning away from him.
“Oh, yeah, great, so I’m the sacrifice,” he sighed.
“Precisely,” Regulus stepped right into his space, and James felt his chest go a little hot.

Summary
There, on the half-broken notice board in the middle of the town square, a rather fancy paper is posted smack dab in the middle. A seemingly important insignia is drawn on its surface as a sign on the bottom right. He skims over the words, eyes bringing him straight to the reward at the end of those ostentatious wordings.
Oh, that definitely could cover father’s medicine forever and that toy Teucer really wants!
He reads the term, sees the requirements, and smiles.
(Ajax enters the tournament to win the Emperor’s hands. He didn’t know that the reward does not consist of only mora)

Summary
The old farts at the bars of Shimotsuki Village painted out omegas to be much more submissive and subservient than the real deal is turning out to be. From their stories, they were supposed to be soft and gentle, kneeling over the second an alpha so much as glanced at them.
The Baratie omega looks like he’d rather smash his fancy wine bottle over Zoro’s head than do any kneeling for him.
(Alternatively, Zoro and Sanji's odd mating rituals).
