Summary
To everyone who never had the fortune or misfortune of trying to work out a deal with Winchester-Novak Systems, the dynamic seems simple. They see charismatic CEO Dean Winchester and his mostly silent companion and decide that Castiel Novak-Winchester is just the trophy husband, the sugar baby Dean is spoiling.
Dean and Castiel let them believe it; they even play into it. If the employees think Castiel uses the high-tech setup for videos, games, and shopping sprees with Dean’s card instead of the algorithms that serve as the heart of the company, they leave him alone. No small talk, no gossip, and no questions on how it all works. Castiel prefers it that way, and Dean would do anything to protect his husband's peace.
In the end, it isn’t the math that makes Castiel break his silence, but bees.

Or: Castiel and Dean met on a bus once and thought it was just a passing moment. The world had other plans.

Summary
England, 1196
Lord Charles de Devin is dying and has summoned his family home for one last Yuletide to settle his affairs and his children’s futures. Years after the King’s Crusade has reshaped the world, Castiel, a young noble burdened by his family’s disdain, struggles to find his place, torn between duty and a desire he dares not name.
When a troupe of Yuletide revelers visits the manor, social constraints crumble, and even a bastard son can be anyone’s equal. Among the masked dances and daring games, Dean, a traveling performer whose easy charm conceals unspoken sorrows shows Castiel that he is more than the world has allowed him to believe—and that some risks are worth taking.
As the twelve days of Christmas unravel secrets and ignite forbidden passions, Castiel must choose between the life he’s been resigned to and the one he secretly longs for.

Summary
Castiel and Dean have been best friends for ages, and roommates for about three years. They live in easy rhythm — Dean working long hours as a mechanic, Castiel balancing university lectures and research — sharing meals, routines, and a closeness that neither of them questions too deeply. They get along well, grounded in trust and quiet care, even if neither dares to name what exists beneath the surface.
But when Castiel’s sister, Hannah, urgently needs help with babysitting her two young children, everything shifts. Caring for Claire and Jack brings unexpected warmth into their apartment — laughter, responsibility, and a glimpse of a domestic life neither realized they longed for. As they navigate diapers, dinosaur debates, and shared exhaustion, their feelings for each other become harder to ignore.
What starts as a simple favor begins to reveal something much deeper: they don’t just work well together — they want this together.
