Ancora una volta, come uno spietato déjavù, era costretto a rivivere quell’Inferno. Aperte le palpebre stanche lo vide guardarlo da lontano, il suo sguardo penetrante fissarlo ed il suo ghigno deriderlo di quello stato pietoso. Avrebbe voluto ucciderlo a mani nude, staccargli il capo dal collo per spaccarlo ripetutamente contro il suolo con tutta la forza, insudiciandosi di sangue fino a sfigurarlo e privarlo di qualsiasi dettaglio che avesse potuto renderlo in qualche modo riconoscibile. Però non poteva farlo. Tentò invano di riprendersi, di non perdersi là dentro. Era solo adesso. Non poteva permettersi di perdere la testa, di lasciarsi andare...Non aveva più quella spalla su cui poggiarsi e chiudere gli occhi, fidandosi.
