But death did not dull Starscream's ambitions, and a god who cannot be overpowered might perhaps be bargained with.
. . . and THEN overpowered. This is a very good plan!

When Ratchet receives a late night comm from First Aid requesting emergency medical assistance, he packs his supplies, grabs a rusty cloak for camouflage, and rushes into the dark night. Whispered warnings about the Garou, a Primus cursed wolf monster don't phase him. Primus isn't real, neither are curses, and the sound of footsteps behind him is just his exhausted mind playing tricks on him. He's got nothing to worry about.
After all, who's afraid of the big bad Deadlock?

The thing has been out there for breems already, right in full view of any curious passerby. You consider leaving it out there even longer—it would be an unmistakable insult to whoever sent it, but just vague enough to prevent them from acting on it—but that will just keep making your private business public, as more and more people see your… present.
When you open your apartment door to see the thing yourself, your first impression is large— not unusual for a drone, but it’s one thing to see them as fixtures all over the planet, and another to see this particular one and realize that you’re going to have to be responsible for it. The drone’s head swivels down, and its single red optic focuses on you. There are only a few people down below on the street, but they’re staring.
