Meet the Trevelyans and the Rutherfords! Continuing after the events of "Andraste's Grace", this post Dragon Age: Inquisition story was originally written in instalments and posted on the BioWare Forum Fan Fiction site January 21, 2015, under the title "Journeys Home", which is as vague and insipid a title as one could devise. That is what comes of being forced to entitle something before it is fully written. Told from multiple points of view, including those of their family members, this was intended to depict Cullen and Elissandra's romance through a series of vignettes, but surprisingly evolved to include an assassination attempt. Funny how stories do that. I still hate coming up with titles. If anyone has any better suggestions, I'm all ears. The warning tag is for a scene of a sexual nature where informed consent was not secured rather than clear-cut rape, but I decided to err on the side of caution so as not to unintentionally trigger any readers.

Summary
Rumors abound across Yurgenschmidt about the new Aub Ahrensbach. A man colder than the God of Ice himself, they say. One who murdered his former fiance and her family and took over the duchy, claiming she had tried to conspire with Lanzenave to invade the Sovereignty. But now that the revolt has been crushed, Lord Ferdinand needs a wife to draw the support of Ahrensbach’s factions and legitimize his rule (at least, according to the Sovereignty he does).
Enter Rozemyne, former Aub Ahrensbach’s granddaughter and an archnoble from Klassenberg. Her previous engagement shredded, she travels to Ahrensbach, steeled against an unknown fate. But the road is full of dangers, and when her carriage is attacked by unknown assailants, she wakes up with memories of a mysterious world. Urano Motosu has no idea what is happening, but hopefully she can use Rozemyne’s memories to survive meeting her new fiance and maybe… find time to read a book or two?
