Summary
Tommy hated how shocking it was to see him like that. Joyful. The last images he had of Evan were of a man hollowed out by pain with the sharp angles of his face, the dark circles under his eyes, and the constant exhaustion. He didn’t remember that smile.
Tommy sat across the table, silent more often than he wanted to be, pretending to follow the conversation. Every once in a while, Evan’s gaze would brush past his, unreadable, before moving on as if nothing had ever existed between them.
Tommy felt as if he were in hell.

Or, Tommy strikes up a friendship with Eddie, which draws him unexpectedly back into Evan Buckley’s orbit - his former and only love whose relationship with him ended in a painful breakup. Now, Tommy must navigate the pull of his lingering feelings against Evan’s apparent coldness.

Steve is not doing fine. Since the events at the mall it was evident that Billy was dead, so why does he see him everywhere ? It's also not helping that he keeps thinking more and more about this Eddie Munson, Dustin's New Hero.
