Summary
Buck is learning a lot of new things about Tommy, like that his favorite movie is Love Actually. Buck has never been a connoisseur of cinema, but if he was ever going to delve into the subject on his own, he’s not sure that it would be through romcoms. At first, Buck didn't really understand what drew Tommy to the film so strongly. After about the fourth rewatch, he realizes that love actually is all around.

Summary
Tommy definitely isn’t expecting the call from Howie. It’s unfortunate they haven’t stayed in touch on a personal level, but Tommy supposes that’s just the way things are.
Howie shows up at the hangar with two other firefighters, Eddie and Evan. These guys appear to be a true testament to the spirit of the 118, willing to do anything for their team. Tommy tries not to feel bitter about it. Something that does help to keep the bitterness away is the boundless sweetness of one Evan Buckley.

Summary
Buck yawns and tries to stretch but finds that he can’t. There’s an arm slung over his chest. A large arm. A large, muscular arm. Oh. Right. Last night Tommy slept over for the first time.
“Good morning, Evan.” Tommy’s voice is rough with sleep and his smile is cautious.
Buck can’t help but grin, then surges forward to kiss the worry off of Tommy’s face, arms winding around his neck and fingers running through Tommy’s gorgeous curls.
Tommy kisses him back and then pulls back with a chuckle. “Good?”
Buck rests his forehead against Tommy’s, eyes closed, soaking it in. “Good. So good.”

Summary
The date was fine. It was fine, okay? It was fine. Better than fine. So why did Buck have the sinking feeling that he had ruined everything?
The conversation was natural and easy. Tommy was so cool, but he was also funny and sweet. His scrunchy smile made Buck feel insane. Buck could spend forever just trying to get Tommy to smile, but it didn’t seem like he needed to try too hard anyway. Neither of them could stop smiling. It felt so, so nice.
Then Eddie had shown up. Needless to say, Buck hadn’t reacted well.

Summary
Cyrus walks into The Spoon and instantly feels more at peace. The aroma of coffee and soothing atmosphere tend to do that to a stressed college student.
There are two baristas working behind the counter. The first one Cyrus notices is a pretty blonde girl with a nose ring. The other barista... Oh. Cyrus stops in his tracks. He’s gorgeous. His eyes are bright green, and they seem to sparkle. He’s also wearing a rainbow flag pin on his apron.

Summary
The safehouse is nice. Just outside of a small town in the mountains, population seven hundred. It had been a mining town back during the gold rush, like way back in the day, but now it’s just quiet and quaint. Perfect for weathering the storm of the amendment of the Accords, or at least that’s what Steve had said before he left them here. And then who knew Steve had wanted to be a politician so bad? Well, it’s a good thing Sam and Bucky can get by on their own.
