Summary
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke was a coward.
“I apologize but at most, you have a month left.”
Ryuunosuke tuned the doctor’s words out, looking at his hands that were numbly placed on his lap on the sofa he was on. After feeling much worse than usual, he had decided to call over one of the Port Mafia’s private doctors, bracing for the news that he had been expecting all along.
It wasn’t a surprise.
His impending death wasn’t new information.

Ryuunosuke always knew that he was going to die. So, after mulling it over, he recounted the words of a friend of his ex-mentor and decided to transcript his thoughts in the medium of letters, as well as making a To-do list for activities with people he deemed worthy one last time.

They say the Third Shinobi World War ends on the day of the explosion on the Kannabi Bridge in one part of the world, and with the battle between Yellow Lightning and the newly appointed Raikage in another.
That’s not entirely true, but it’s not far from the truth.
The war truly ends on the day the Third Mizukage’s head rolls across the floor, and standing over it is a young man whom no one has ever seen before. On that day, Kirigakure fell as it was known, and all who saw that young man’s face either perished or joined him. The earth soaked up the blood, and the rains washed away the remains when the young man, who did not belong here — who had never been one of those born in these lands — left everyone with a choice: submit or die.

Summary
“I’ve heard there’s been some negotiations regarding Kiri. Word says that they have a new Mizukage.”
Kushina snorts at that, shakes her head and looks like she’s considering banging it on the table until it breaks.
“Sure. Sure.” She waves money in the air, asking for some more ramen. She doesn’t drink in front of Kakashi, because she considers him a "child" and therefore a "bad companionship to drink with".
“Is he that bad?”
“Deadlast of his class,” she says, laughing hysterically. “I would’ve never considered him to be a skilled politician, and yet, here we are,” she spreads her arms, “a world full of fucking surprises!”
Rin survives Kakashi's chidori turning her into a shish kebab. They both try to pick up the pieces of innocence they left behind. Also, there are strange things happening around them.
Or; after the finale, Obito gets yoinked and thrown back in time, seconds before Rin's death.
Or, or; Obito's about to become everyone's problem. Especially Kakashi's.

Summary
In Konohagakure there are three ruling factions, the first is the Business Industry, owned and dominated by Uchiha Madara, the second is the Criminal Underworld, controlled and commanded by Senju Hashirama, and the last is the Government and Law under the sovereignty of Uzumaki Mito; Amongst these factions are public opinion which is a means to keep the balance between the three major powers. Balance that is soon shattered when Madara's new ward, Uchiha Obito shows up on his doorsteps, recovering from a past he cannot forget, and an identity lost to him. Obito is forced to accept his calling and is sent to protect the future of Konoha with his abilities; abilities that many desire, fear, and resent. But in the wake of a dark organization's (ROOT) evil plot, Obito is forced to gather unlikely allies in his battle against evil for the sake of the future (and his family).
Madara was just being weird because he cared, right? And his cousins and Mikoto wouldn't leave him alone because they were worried right? And it was okay to accept their affection (even Izuna's)...right? Right.
But what the fuck was Kakashi's deal? And why was his cousins' friends following him everywhere?!
