Summary
Jean doesn’t get sick. He doesn’t have time to get sick. Calling out of work is a non-option, so Jean has learned, as good as anyone at the 41st, to knock back the strongest medication that’ll still allow him to function and do his fucking job. So, maybe it isn’t that Jean doesn’t get sick, more so that Jean does not get to be sick.

Summary
Of course, Tuco's gratitude and zest for survival lasts only as long as his first swig of a drink. The lukewarm and watered down beer soothes the ache in his throat. He brings a hand to his neck, thumbing the skin in need of a shave, the bruised flesh hot to the touch. Anger and bitterness flare and Tuco shoots a mean glare at the man next to him.
"Tch, you get any slower and next time I'll truly die, you bastard! What, did you have a nice nap while I was getting tusseled up and strung by my throat?"
"I was watching you," comes the quiet answer. "I'll take a nap next time."
Tuco splutters.
Tuco's day starts with a noose around his neck.

Summary
Trant hums thoughtfully, tracing up the coiled lines of Jean's levator scapulae and pressing down hard. Jean jolts like he's been electrocuted.
"Right- right there-" he grits out, writhing.
"Mm, I can feel it." Trant chuckles, kneading carefully around the knot. "Perhaps I should have made you sign a waiver. I really have no idea what I'm doing..."

Jean's cluster headaches strike again. Fortunately he gets a rather horny massage and maybe a bit of introspection out of it, courtesy of the Special Consultant.

Summary
“Let me get this straight.” Captain Ptolemaios Pryce steeples his fingers, a gesture that makes every officer in the 41st clench their assholes in anticipation of the majestic fucking that they’re about to receive. “Harrier threw Bevy’s desk out the window because Bevy refused to call him ‘The Detective Lord’...”
“Detective God, sir,” Jean Vicquemare says. "Not Detective Lord."
---
Jean deals with the aftermath of Harry's drunken rampage; Trant tries to help. They meet halfway.

Summary
“Can I do anything to make this right?” Harry asks. “I can go back to Evrart or pay for your room tonight or…” he tails off, trying to think of something to amend this mistake.
“Apologise,” Kim suggests. The word just slips out, and then it’s too late to snap his mouth shut.
