Tatooine is an absolute dump of a planet.
It's truly no wonder that it's a criminal and slave trader's paradise. No-one else would settle on a planet so far away from what anyone would call civilization, with infertile ground, unbearable heat and all that kriffing sand.
No-one else, except for a kid that offers Din an awkward flirty grin and a drink. A kid that shines as bright as the twin suns burning bright in the sky.

“You said,” the baby Sith starts again, his voice cracking right down the middle. Stopping, he takes a pained sounding breath, almost a wheeze, and starts again. “You said if I needed help, if I needed a different option, you could provide assistance. That I could come to you, if I didn’t know what to do. If I didn’t have anywhere else to go.”
Those godsdamned yellow eyes, one almost swollen shut, are filled with legitimate tears. Anakin can’t stop looking at him, drawn into the glow of them like gravity.
With a smirk that looks like it hurts, the broken and battered Sith across from him opens his pretty, bloody mouth and sends Anakin’s hopes for a peaceful night directly into the stratosphere.
“Well, it appears that I need help.”

Bruised and broken and drugged, the Sithling Anakin's been dealing with for months shows up at the Temple asking for help. Anakin takes care of him in more ways than one.

Is she to be his mistress then? she thinks hazily as she slips towards sleep. Is that the future for her? To escape from the viper's den into the viper's mansion?
She shivers and he drags her closer, one large hand tucked around her hip.
Well, she can't escape now even if she wants to, she thinks, sinking into the softness of the plush mattress, burrowing back into the heat and warmth of her jailor.
