Summary
The one good thing about living in a hell of his own making is that nobody’s around to call Viktor a voyeur.
That’s not what he’s doing, really—he just likes to pass time by watching other universes. It’s more of a compulsion. A way to make sure that the Jayces of the multiverse are okay. And there’s one particularly interesting universe that Viktor found just the other week.
Snowstorm? No.
Hextech? Check.
Viktor and Jayce meeting? Check.
Viktor and Jayce being partners? Absolutely not. But they had been, once upon a time.
Or: Mage Viktor peers into another universe and finds a Jayce in need of some unconventional saving.

Summary
“So!” Jayce exclaims, cutting through the warbled background noise and almost startling Viktor into a very clumsy fall, “... will you come?”
Viktor re-adjusts himself and rolls his shoulders. He might need a chair. “I… ah, could you repeat that?”
“The holiday market,” Jayce says, looking expectantly at Viktor like that explains everything. “Are you coming?”
Or: Jayce invites Viktor to a holiday market, and Viktor has the most soul-crushing... well, crush on Jayce. This is definitely not a problem. Absolutely not.

Summary
“I recognised your handwriting,” Jayce blurted out as they were about to leave his apartment to make the trek to Heimerdinger’s lab.
Viktor turned around, hand still on the keys which he had just finished stuffing back into his pocket. “From where?”
Realising that he’d provided no context, Jayce hesitantly rolled up his left sleeve and shifted his cuff upward to reveal the words on his wrist. “Look, it says—” he paused, taking in the words again. It was almost the same except for one.
An amazing genius. I can work with this.
“It said erratic earlier this afternoon,” Jayce mumbled, thumbing at ‘amazing’.
Or: The thoughts that people nearby have about you appear on your skin. Jayce doesn't care for them—or so he says—until he meets Viktor.

“You? Sleep in?” Toya says, faintly amused. “You must’ve needed it.”
Akito rubs his eyes. “You’re not mad?”
“Why would I be mad? I did call you rather early… but I need to make sure you don’t have any plans for today.”
“Oh,” Akito says, letting himself fall back onto the bed. “No, I don’t. Why? Do you have plans?” he asks, praying that the answer is no. Maybe he could invite Toya over for lunch. Not the most romantic first anniversary ever, but he doesn’t have many options at this point.
“Yes,” Toya says, dashing Akito’s hopes until he adds, "involving you. Meet me in the sekai at 10?”
Or: Akito and Toya have both been hard at work on their tasks from Ken. They get to have some downtime (and a little fun) for their first ever anniversary.

“Do you want to write something?” his mother asked, leaning across the desk for a pen. She handed it to him, and Viktor uncapped it. After nervously debating where to start, he settled on writing ‘hello’ back, just underneath his soulmate’s. Was it too simple? Would his soulmate want to keep talking to him?
A smiley face appeared next to his reply. Viktor breathed a sigh of relief.
