However, Vil’s voice today was rougher than Rook had ever heard before. Not just rougher, but also higher in pitch and nasally in tone, broken by the occasional sniffle.
“My beautiful Vil, you’re sick! Oh mon Dieu, this is such a loss for—” Rook’s exclamation was then promptly cut short by another sneeze. “Ah.”
