Summary
She’d returned to the Deucalian, and with it much of her previous life seemed to just… slot back into place. Her room was enthusiastic about her return for the first couple of days before it settled down into what counted as normal for the hotel. It felt familiar and safe. It should’ve felt good.
It was the start of Basking, and Jupiter was away for the night and finally Morrigan had given into the temptation of what if. Then, there was blood over her legs, and a shaky blade on the floor next to her, and waves of regret washing over her as she could only stare, questioning what the hell she had just done.
