Summary
A year after what was supposed to be a temporary split, Carla and Lisa come face to face for the first time since Carla left Lisa and boarded a flight to Ireland and never looked back. When your fiancée’s dead wife suddenly comes back to life, it’s never really going to end well, and Carla knew it. She called things off before she got hurt any more than she already had.
What she didn’t expect was her almost stepdaughter, Betsy, refusing to give up on her. Fast forward a year, and Carla is heading back to Weatherfield for the Underworld Christmas party, the very one Betsy insisted she attend. But showing up means facing Lisa… and probably Becky, too.
