Summary
While there are parts in the world where Sentinels and Guides are revered, to be one of those in Great Britain is a death sentence. Neville spents most of his life hiding what he is because he is convinced he will find his Sentinel in Hogwarts.
When Harry finally awakens and Neville is able to reveal himself to his Sentinel, the time for hidding is far from over, but at least he is not alone anymore on the journey they start together with Neville's grandmother and Harry's godfather.

I chose to be an Alley kid because being here, being with you is what I want to do.” She stares at him with her big intense eyes as he snaps back into the present. “But if certain people found out about who I was before I came here, then I'd have a lot of people after me. I don't mind having fun with you and the others, but I don't like adults and I don't like running. So I need you to let me find you. Can you promise that?"
They both know he’d promise her anything, just as she’d do the same.
His lips thin as he bites his cheek before he gently rests his hand on her cheek. "James, of course I promise. But I want you to promise that you'll keep finding me no matter what. And that when we're both eighteen, you'll find me one last time and we'll get married and we'll figure it out together, yeah?"
When he looks Batman in the eyes with a tire iron in his hand a few weeks later, he takes the tiniest of moments to look behind him to see dyed blonde hair and big blue eyes peak around the corner with a thumbs up and remembers an echo of previously spoken words.
"I’ll always find you. I promise, Jay."

"O?"
"Stephanie and Duke are almost there. Five minutes."
Five minutes. He could do that. He took a deep breath, held it, and as he released it, he released his control of his anger.
"God, you're just like your father." Tim spits at Jason's back. The Alpha freezes, then looks over his shoulder at the younger man, his hand tightening on his pistol.
"What the fuck did you just say to me?" He growls, meeting his Replacement's glare with one of his own.
"Tim, what the fuck are you doing?!" Barbara gasps in his ear.
Buying them time, he thinks.

Tim Drake has been obsessed with his predecessor for most of his life, and now that Jason is back in Gotham for good, he has a plan to bring the man back into their family. If he can survive the Courting period without Jason finding out the Delta was interested in him before the time was right.
