Erik Destler is highly aware that he has many similarities between him and the Phantom of the Opera. He has a deformity in half of his face and has a passion and talent for music.But he begins to have memories that offer a different version to the story that is well known. Memories that include Christine Daae never calling him Angel, Raoul de Chagny relaxing with him in Box 5...and frequent letters to a woman unknown to any version of the Phantom's tale.
Meanwhile Raoul and Christine have found each other and have memories of their first lifetime. And after remembering what happened, they are both determined not to make the same mistakes. Especially when it comes to the man they both love. But will being in his life bring more joy or tragedy? Especially to someone who seems satisfied before they both appeared in his life.
