“It’s not like you’re a virgin, right?” Quackity rolls his eyes.
Dream watches George intently, how his body tenses and his ears turn as red as his face, and how he bites the inside of his cheek. He knows exactly what that means.
“No,” George says, and Dream knows he’s lying. He knows because he knows George, and everyone else here knows George but they don’t know him like Dream does.
The conversation around them shifts again, the attention falling back onto general principles of hookups when you’re famous on the internet, and Dream is the only one in the room who knows George is a virgin.

Summary
“Well you’re not sleeping on it either,” Dream insisted. “So you either take my offer and I can sleep on the couch, or we both stay here in my room and share my bed.”
George blinked once. Then twice.
“What?” He let out, shyly taking his hand away as he looked at his friend with slightly widened eyes, surprise and confusion in his features. The American shrugged in response.
“I mean, it’s a big bed…”
“You’re serious?” He questioned, despite knowing the answer. The blond instantly nodded. He let out a soft sigh. "I can’t tell you to sleep on the couch, Dream…”
“Then we share,” his friend mumbled, shrugging again. Like it was that easy for him, like the answer was simple.
George was too tired, and couldn’t think of any other solution. So he didn’t.
“Okay,” he mumbled, nodding just once.
“Okay,” the boy said back, mimicking his gesture.
And that was that.
Then a new routine of interactions was quick to be born.

Or, George breaks his bed on his first night in Florida, then a sleeping arrangement that was meant to last until he got a new bed frame soon turned into a routine; full of domesticity and gestures that blur the platonic line.

“Everyone give a warm welcome to a crowd favorite, 404,” The words gave him a boost of confidence. He was a crowd favorite, and all the dancers knew it, with his porcelain skin and dark curls framing a gentle figure. He looked fragile, and that’s what people liked- what people obsessed over. Someone they could break. Or, someone they could cradle. He’s had it both ways- but one would always be more desirable than the other.
Once George slipped out onto the stage, the crowd erupted. People started throwing crumpled up one dollar bills, holding them in the air, pushing to the front of the stage, waiting for him to slip off the black silk that concealed his body.
Then, the music started.
