“Fuck,” he gasps, and runs off. Large bite wounds run down the wolf's hind leg, deep to the rib. The fur is encrusted, the ground beneath him red. “Fuck,” Harry says again, quieter this time. He kneels down, reaches out and gently touches the fur. He shakes him slightly. Nothing. No twitching, no sound.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Harry's heart is racing. “What am I supposed to do now?” The wolf is far too heavy. There's no way he can carry them.

But he cuts himself off as he turns around again. Where a moment ago a wolf had been sitting, now stands a man.Harry’s heart skips a beat. The first thing he notices are the bright blue eyes—the same as the wolf’s. Then his gaze drops to the soft brown hair that falls in loose fringe over the man’s forehead, and the light shadow of a beard tracing his jawline. Harry’s mouth falls open. The man's skin is so tanned, he looks almost golden. His stomach is taut and defined...
Fuck. He’s seeing more than he expected. The man is completely naked. “Fuck!” Harry yells, slapping a hand over his face and whipping around.

“I do,” Louis said quickly. “It’s… hard. I’m shit at it, honestly, but I like it. I like her. I love her too, obviously. But I also just like talking to her; she’s smart. She makes me laugh. She's with my mom this weekend. I miss her a lot, actually; this is helping distract me." Harry was smiling, but he didn't say anything more. “Sorry, you didn’t invite me here to talk about my kid.”
“I kind of did,” Harry shook his head. "I wanted to learn about you, talk to you. But I also invited you here because you were making eyes at me the entire class.”
