Summary
Jon is crying over his mom’s chest when he remembers her phone. Thankfully he’s memorized her password, despite his mom not approving of him knowing. Not allowing hesitation, he calls his dad. He puts the phone on speaker, squeezing his mom’s hand in his, wishing beyond anything that she would squeeze back. It rings, and rings, and rings-
And he doesn’t pick up.
He sobs, wanting to curse him out for ignoring him, for not being here when he needs him. When mom needs him. He doesn’t dial again, not knowing how much time his mom has before she’s really truly gone. He knows sometimes people can be brought back. Even if Jon doesn’t know how, someone does. Someone has to save her. Even if he gets in trouble, gets arrested or punished for hurting her, he needs help. He dials 911.
Unlike his dad, they pick up right away. Jon doesn’t wait for the lady to finish her introduction before he’s blurting out-
“I killed my mommy.”

Summary
“My sweet boy, I’ve got you. I’ll protect you,” Mommy soothes. “I won’t let anyone touch you.” Tim wants to believe her, he needs to. Mommy is smart, she always knows what she’s talking about. So she must know now too, despite how agonizingly frightening this is. “You’ll be safe in here, baby.”
Tim wants to pull back and look at her face, but even if the hand carding through his hair let up, there’s not enough light to make out her expression anyway. Tim doesn’t like the dark.
She continues, voice low and with a desperation he’s never heard from her before, “I need you to be very brave, Timothy. I need to go find a phone, and I need you to wait here for me, very quiet, just like hide and seek.”
“No,” he mewls before he can help himself, “No, Mommy, don’t go, please. Don’t leave me.”

Tim has used up all of his bandaids, but Mommy still won’t wake up. He doesn’t know what to do. He needs a grown-up’s help. Thankfully, he knows who Batman is. Batman can make it all better.

Now as a disciple of Qing Jing training under Luo Binghe Shen Yuan has to manage being half-heavenly demon (sealed), a (malfunctioning) System stalking him, and the general shitty writing of PIDW coming to fuck him over at every turn.

Role Reversal AU where Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe trading places both solves problems and create countless new ones.

Summary
Everyone else seemed to think that Gotham was "a total shithole" and "the closest thing to hell on earth."
Billy wasn't convinced because, statistically speaking, Gotham had a pretty high concentration of extremely cool people.
Nightwing and Red Robin were both from Gotham.
So was Black Canary.
And, of course, it was home to Batman.
It couldn't be that bad.
Or: Billy Batson joins the Justice League under the name Captain Marvel. The usually gloomy and stand-offish Batman takes an unusual interest in him.
