Anya snakes her arms around his waist, scooting closer until her chin meets the skin of his collarbone. Damian’s soul leaves his body. When he looks at her there’s no smug smile or puppy-dog eyes, nor any fluttering of eyelashes. It’s just Anya, and her soft, angelical face. “Are you a hopeless romantic or something, sy-on boy?” She asks.
