“Harry, I’m too old for this. I’ve got old bones. My legs are starting to go numb.”
Harry didn’t respond. Didn’t say a single word.
Didn’t even look at him.
Instead, still wrapped in his blanket, still very much half-asleep, he sat up, blinked at nothing in particular—slow, groggy, soft—and stood.
Sirius blinked.
Then, before Sirius could make another joke, before he could tell Harry to sit his arse back down because he’d only been teasing, Harry shuffled across the room.
Blanket trailing behind him. Bare feet padding against the wooden floor.
And without hesitation, without thinking—
He plopped down on the floor in front of Remus’s armchair, curled himself back up, and laid his head directly onto Remus’s knee.
Sirius stared.
Remus—the bastard—just smirked.
Sirius scoffed, throwing up his hands. “Unbelievable.”

Summary
