Family stays together by Valaena_the_Historyteller1. Jon/Daenerys. Time travel fic, the White Walkers eventually won (after some decades) and send various people back. Unfortunately, old grudges and actions cause... many issues. Poor Robb is stuck in a family that depises each other (bar Rickon). Jaime has no one in his family to trust bar his younger children and Brienne. Jon/Lucerys wound up as Empire of the New Valyrian Empire after Daenerys' early demise, and truly embraced his Targaryen side after Bran, Sansa and Arya's betrayals.

Carl glanced behind him, at the gate that had shuttered close with a clang. There weren’t any walkers. The few that had come close were already on the ground, punctured with Carl’s knife before the gates had even been opened. An uneasiness settled in his stomach. This wasn’t normal. Even on the best of days at the prison, walkers lined up at the fence, their teeth gnawing at the wire as they tried to reach them.
Unsettled, Carl followed Aaron. He had nowhere else to go.
