Or - Luke Skywalker, hero of the movement colloquially known as The Rebellion, minutes after learning his true parentage, wakes up in a strange place, full of strange people. Ahsoka's mission, meanwhile, has just gone up in flames after a pro-Separatist group called The Rebellion kidnaps Anakin as part of a gambit to negotiate an end to their planet's civil war. Surely these Rebellions are the same political organization and no misunderstandings will occur. Summary
The Clone Wars were an aberration. They were never supposed to happen.
Rex and Ahsoka, joined in the past by Fives & Echo, work to use their chance to circumvent the dark plans of Sidious, juggling their efforts to save the future with the needs of maintaining their security in the past. The Clones who work with them, the Jedi at large, and even some elements of the Senate are beginning to notice that something is Not Quite Right about the Jedi Padawan who isn't, and threats loom in every shadow. Some of them, the time-travelers know are coming, but others spring up in their midst without warning, and still others stem from the changes they're making to the future.
YEAR 2 covers the events of 21BBY, sticking as close to the canon timeline as Year 1, but with the focus more on the relationships between clones, Jedi, the Republic and others.
The Endgame IS Rexsoka, but that is still a LONG way off, though the beginnings of pining will be much more prominent in this installment than in the first one. You do NOT have to read Year 1, but there may be a few blips of confusion.

She considered this as she holstered her saber into its carrier. This was not where she had been before, the surroundings unfamiliar in a way that threw her for a loop. The trees weren’t right, the wrong shades of green and the land lacked the sands she had begun to get used to after so many planet side trips that ended with nothing but mesas and plateaus.
