Quá trình sâu bướm biến đổi thành bướm là một thử thách sống còn*. Khi sâu bướm hóa thành nhộng, chúng không có khả năng tự vệ và có thể bị giết bởi bất kỳ kẻ thù tự nhiên nào, cho dù không có ngoại vật tác động đến bướm non, nếu không có đủ khả năng phá kén thoát ra, chúng có thể sẽ chết hoặc trở nên tàn tật, cuối cùng bị thiên nhiên đào thải, chỉ có một số lượng rất ít những con bướm có thể dang rộng đôi cánh tung bay giữa đất trời.

After Alucard's betrayal by Taka and Sumi, he's determined to isolate himself in the castle, driving away any who might seek him out. When Sypha and Trevor reappear on his doorstop, however, haunted by their own troubles, he agrees to let them stay. Together, the three of them might be able to heal one another's emotional wounds--if they can convince Alucard he deserves it.
