Summary
Heather likes her until she doesn't.
It's the only constant in their relationship- the unreliability. One minute, Heather's eyes are on Duke and she's grinning and flirting and making Duke feel like the only girl in the world. The next, she's ripping into her like all she wants to do is see what pretty patterns the blood makes.
Still, when she comes back, all soothing and conciliatory, Duke lets her. She always lets her. It's Heather, after all, and the only thing worse than enduring her affections would be to have to go without them.

Summary
Duke’s ripping into Katie’s ugly sweater next to Heather. It’s a white noise of derision while Heather’s critical eyes take in McNamara and Veronica.
Is everyone at Westerberg a homosexual? Honestly, it’s getting ridiculous. She knows Kurt and Ram are fucking, Duke can hardly contain herself, now McNamara and Veronica?
She’s going to start drinking from bottled water only.

Summary
Heather Chandler is dead, murdered by her best friend at seventeen. A wasted life.
But that isn't the only way it could have gone. In the wake of her death, her soul is granted the chance to see other possibilities, to choose another version of her life to have led. A million different possibilities, each a ripe fig on the fig tree, each with their own static. And most of them involving Veronica Sawyer, one way or another. A chance at happiness. At least, if Heather Chandler had ever really had a chance at happiness.

Summary
Nineteen-year-old Veronica Sawyer doesn't seem to be able to catch a break. From self-detonating destructive exes, to the ghost of her messy high school crush (that she accidentally killed), to somehow ending up back two years ago just in time for September 1st, 1989: Senior Year.
Physically nineteen while attending senior year was not on her bucket list, but here she is. The only difference now is she's far more ready to tackle everything that went wrong.
Note: This was based loosely on the themes in Vices & Virtues along with its original work Fight, published by drafthoardingdragon. I HIGHLY recommend reading it. After obsessing over it, I couldn't get it out of my head and decided to create my version!
As of (09/25/25) Author's Note: HIATUS, SORRY, AND THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT

Summary
"But what can one do, when everything inside is broken and no one gives a shit to fix it…what else is there to do but break yourself more?" //
"Everyone wanted a piece of her, and that was how she liked it." // "She didn’t think of herself as religious, but there was a certain…pressure…to squeeze herself into a box that had never fit in the first place." // "She’d be a dead girl if she had been discovered in a color that was forbidden to her."Each of the Heathers seems to have it all together, but they're fighting demons of their own. Secrets spill out slowly, but a new arrival at the school forces the girls to realize that all that they have is each other, whether they like it or not. TW for: self harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, other explicit mental illness things, and internalized homophobia (which will decrease over time).
