Summary
After his father rejected his then 6 year old sons dreams, Jaune Arc did what any reasonable 6 year old would do.
Run off and join a mercenary band that just happened to be passing through, of course. But life wasn't as glamorous as he imagined. What use is a child in battle? Made to do chores, picking up scraps of learning during his time.
Over a decade later, Jaune Arc was still a fledgling mercenary, unskilled in training if not in experience.
But he still dreamed of being a hero. And on the day of his death he recieved a great opportunity.
Every day he dies, he will repeat that day. Until he survives it.

Summary
Terra Cotta was Atlesian. Efficient, Effective, Enduring and Engineering. Loving a woman came as a surprise. Dating her was like compiling code into the neat and ordered rows and then having it all tumble down when she smiled and said 'oh, I didn't know'. Saphron also came with a whole family, and a younger brother who was kind of interesting. Interesting enough that she got an idea to try things out with him. Another surprise, for sure.
If she liked girls, well, experimenting with a boy was certainly fine too, just to create a balance. She might even have blondes as her 'type'. First... there must be an investigation. Then there must be tests... Compiling the code for her work was as easy as breathing, but to test out her own likes... Well, that might take a while. A tryst with her soon-to-be brother in law. That would be perfect.
This was commissioned work.

Summary
It's a pity that Ruby didn't catch that Dust thief and impress Professor Goodwitch. It would have been nice to skip two years and go straight to Beacon. Instead, she just has to do what she planned and keep on studying to be a Huntress at Signal. At least there's all sorts of interesting people and things there to keep her occupied.
