Marinette sighed and turned her gaze to the tall blond, unexpectedly meeting with a pair of stern green eyes looking straight at her. She suddenly realized that the audience was quiet and wasn’t sure when he stopped talking. Could he have heard what Alya and her were talking about? she thought with horror. But no, it was unlikely, even with the silence in the room, her friend spoke very quietly. Right?
“I see you have finally finished your discussion of today’s topic with Miss Césaire, Miss Dupain-Cheng. So you wouldn’t mind sharing with us your invaluable opinion on this matter.” His voice seemed even and calm, but Marinette could swear that some kind of emotion was shining in his eyes — sarcasm, or something softer, like… teasing? Unfortunately, Marinette didn’t have time to figure out what exactly, because everyone around was silent, waiting for her answer, and she didn’t quite remember what topic he taught today. Probably while he was explaining it, she was mentally pulling off his pants...

“Hey, Fathom,” she whispered to him menacingly, “Move your leg, it’s bothering me!”
His lips curved into a smug grin. “Won’t even dream of it,” he whispered in response, turning his head slightly towards her without taking his eyes off the screen. “I’m quite comfortable the way I sit. You can change seats if you’re dissatisfied here.” He added, and it seems his grin became even wider.
Marinette narrowed her eyes at him, not intending to give up even on his territory. “Enjoying yourself, aren’t you?” She challenged, preparing for the fight. “I’m quite comfortable, too,” she assured him smugly and swung the leg his knee was touching right over his thigh so that it now hung between his spread legs.
A grin slipped from his lips and Felix looked down from the screen and stared intently at her leg between his thighs, then looked up at Marinette with a level, unreadable gaze.
“What, Fathom, is there something that doesn’t suit you anymore?” Marinette asked, raising her eyebrows.
