“How long’s it been?” Logan asks, thoughtful. “What, like, two years? South by South West 2021, right? You were working there or something?” He smiles again, much too innocent. “Funny how we keep bumping into each other.”
“Yeah, hilarious, the same way that me hitting you in the knee caps would be hilarious.” Louise agrees. She feels uncomfortably infuriated at the fact that his eyes are still as blue as ever. There are models that would kill for his eyes. She probably wouldn’t even need to color correct any photos of him. It’s actually unfair. “The same way you leaving right now would be hilarious.” Louise speaks again, cutting off that train of thought before her agitation can grow further.
