“And who’s that one?”
The customer was referring to the pale, speckled rump that was planted on top of one of the climbing trees, just high enough that you would have to strain to pet its owner. A grey tail spouted from the base, twitching idly. When it swiped too far to the left or right, the room was flashed with the blushing round pair of balls the cat also boasted, and if you looked closely, you would see the pink plastic ring of a chastity cage resting above them as well.
Eric glanced up from where he had been wiping down the reception desk, following the customer’s pointed finger and then chuckling.
“That’s Teddy,” he said. “He’s our resident old man. He helps socialize the kittens to get them ready for adoption.”
“Is he friendly?” the customer asked.
