Even with the help of painkillers, EMF barely even managed to stand on his own. Seawatt’s irritation slowly began to dissolve into concern with the way his partner struggled. Why did he let it get this bad? Why hadn’t he said anything to Evbo or Seawatt? They had never been upset with him before over this. Seawatt just couldn’t understand.
“Okay, that’s not going to work,” Seawatt said after EMF stumbled and fell for the third time. They hadn’t even gotten to the Master Layer yet. “Why can’t we just ask Evbo?”
“He’s… busy.”
“Em.”
EMF’s tail whipped again.
“Why are you being so stubborn?”
“…it’s been three years.”
“What?”EMF collapses while working with Seawatt on the Champion Layer. Seawatt seeks to take care of the very scars that he caused all those years ago.
