Will blinked up at the boy standing on the deck, a couple of the dogs trotted over to get their pets from him as Will's hands were already occupied with several others.
"Hi Wally." Will said, standing. He felt Hannibal's presence just behind himself, beyond his circle of hounds.
"Winston hasn't been eating much," Wally said, conversationally, as if any of this was normal, "Buster too, and Max hasn't been interested in playing, but Winston's the worst. He keeps staring out the window and escaping. He comes back on his own, I think hes looking for you."
"Seems I'm not the only one who finds you easy to miss." Hannibal said, amused.

An animal pouncing on his prey. There was little resistance as Will took him down, landing them both on the floor with a grunt. Knees knocking on the side of his ribs, hands on his throat. The very throat he was wishing he could slash. Wishing he had slashed, back in Florence, back when all he had wanted with that knife was some non-lethal hurt to equal his own. Back when he had not thought the answer to his problems was to digest the man instead of pushing him away.

They imagined they were safe, with Hannibal back behind bars. They didn't count on the rampage Will would go through to get him back.

He’d expected the doctor to fuck him senseless, tie him up or something, take his own enjoyment… not to gently but adamantly savour him like a fine dessert. Tender affection from a human being was too much to handle. It slowly drained the air from Will’s lungs while he grappled for it and found only retreating tendrils. They seemed to call out for him, pleading with him to let them go and succumb.
