Summary
Hiyoshi was living the high life, running around protecting the city. The ladies weren’t so bad either, as well as the other perks that came with being a hunter. His perfectly tailored suit made him look like the dashing hero in the books and movies he used to read. He had built up a reputation and was becoming this city’s very own hero.
Except the hero in the movies didn’t have to deal with unruly children every time he went home. The invincible, unbeatable hero in Hiyoshi’s mind did not have to sew his sister’s name in towels for her preschool, nor did he have to find creative ways to sneak celery into his brother’s meals so he would eat them.
Those were the grown-ups’ jobs. The real grown-ups who knew what to do when their child got sick in the middle of the night while they were out working, or when their classmates picked on them because they were too quiet and couldn’t communicate well.
His past classmates were grown-ups. The no fun allowed, stick in the mud type of adults were probably grown-ups.
He lit up a cigarette with his lighter, taking a drag of nicotine. He shuddered from the rush of chemicals to his brain.
Hiyoshi wasn’t sure if he wanted to be a grown-up.

Sometimes its about drinking vanilla extract and wanting to claw out of your skin.Vash doesn't have the words exactly for what starts happening to him after Knives played a frequency into his Gun at Jenora's rock. He can feel the math of it, the shape of it, but the words escape him for the next 300k. This Fic is about psychically conjoined twins, nuclear fusion, falling in love with the sun, becoming a salmon and discovering what Ao3 can do with ascii art. It's a Stampede canon divergent fic that crashes off the rails at episode 4 with plant head canons I came up with while watching 98 years ago...and some how I caught a lot of dodge balls. Its also a time loop story that incorporates elements of Trimax and 98, but that's a spoiler for part 2.

Ventus got his heart broken in half by Xehanort as he failed to satisfy his Master, and was then discarded and left to die. But thanks to Sora, he healed and gained a new life, and a new family.
No such luck for the piece of him left behind, that has to carry the burden Ventus escaped: his long lost friends, the end of the world, the guilt of the crime he commited against his will, ... and an unwelcomed guest taking over his heart.
