Shego stared dispassionately at her reflection in the mirror, taking in the litany of scars that marred her pale green skin. Her entire body from the neck down was covered in little white scratches and tears, like she had been mauled by a mob of small, starving animals. That was because she had been. The mental and physical scars from the Nekoken would never fade.
Her eyes then moved to the next scar, a nasty burn scar on her side, from the first and only time she had ever fought with the intention to kill.
She had won, given she was still alive, but it had felt like anything but. Saffron hadn’t been content to go down without making her pay the price. He left a permanent mark on her body that still ached and burned to this day, and another on her soul by making it impossible to save the love of his life.
Even now, nearly 18 years later and having lived a second childhood, she still felt that soulwrenching pain.

Summary
Rika thought she could handle anything after working for Geeta for so long. Between stubborn students thinking they’re ready to take on the Elite Four, misogynistic jerks and delusional parents doubting her abilities, and wrangling the various Gym Leaders and Elite Four, she felt it was all under control.
But then Professor Sada’s machine somehow sent her across the planet, and into a region called Kanto full of Pokemon both new and unfamiliar. Things get worse when she learns she’s 5 years in the past, meaning she can’t go home without risking a paradox, not that she knows where home is from here.
This place is a mess. There's tension between Kanto and it's neighbor Johto over the outcome of a war that nobody under the age of 25 even remembers. The champion of the region is an arrogant dragon whelp in need of a steady hand to guide them. Corruption and tradition seem to be standing in the way of bettering the lives of the Indigo citizens, and there's an honest to goodness criminal organization threatening to break the tenuous peace between the regions.
Rika hates messes. She always feels the urge to clean things up.
Doesn't mean she's not going to throttle Geeta when she gets back to Paldea.

Summary
On his deathbed Krillin made his wife, who they long ago realized had been cursed with eternal life by that mad scientist, make three promises.
The first promise was to live. She did not need to rush to her own death, for he would wait for her whenever it was her rightful time.
The second promise was to love. He didn’t want her to close herself off. There would be others that could understand, appreciate and love her. And she should allow herself to love them as well without worrying about betraying him.
The final promise was to watch. He asked that she would periodically check on theirs and their friends' descendants, and offer them help and guidance as they needed. To be the figure they could look to for wisdom, much like they had needed in their youth.
This is the story of Android 18 as she does her best to fulfill these promises on top of her duties as a God of Destruction Candidate.
