Summary

A novel-length secret relationship story set after season 3, with an original plot, worldbuilding, and fully developed characterisation. As always, concepts and lore are accurately researched to satisfy Star Wars nerds but also referenced/explained to ensure those less familiar with the franchise can enjoy and understand everything, too.

Summary
The Mandalorian's bounties have led him all over the galaxy, from back-water holes to dangerous cities. Arriving at the cantina you worked at was chance; trusting you was a choice.
Mando and reader stumble into each other's lives and together navigate a messy galaxy full of dangers, pain, and betrayals. Having to rely on one another more often than not, you both learn that trust isn't such a bad thing.
Slow burn--classic trope where you end up traveling with the Mandalorian. What can I say, it's just too good. This story doesn't really adhere to canon. Mando has Grogu and that's all you really need to know. A few familiar faces may pop up but not necessarily in a canon-accurate context.

I'm modifying the script as I see fit to make the plot work. This takes place in season two.
