Will still rambled, however Mike's mind went back to their moments. The time where they were always together. Where he can't focus on his class if Will's not there. Where he always look for Will in the crowd. Where he always feels happy when he sees Will happy. Where he got pissed at reading El's letter that said Will was painting something for a girl. Where he got angry at seeing Robin and Will get so close all of a sudden. Where he felt frustrated when someone asked Will for a dance in the snowball and he blamed it for just missing El. He realized it wasn't about El. It was about Will.

Instead of finding Gao Tu with another man who's close to their age, he instead found a man clearly old enough to be Gao Tu's father and the said man was clutching the beta's wrist hard enough to think that it might leave a bruise later.
