Braun was no fool. As the perfect host, he had to be constantly aware of the people around him so that he could properly react. So, when sneaky fingers—much smaller than his own. Pale and soft and fragile. Human—pressed something to the underside of his head, Braun immediately noticed. He also noticed the strange absence of anger that he should be feeling at the unwanted touch.
His mental state had been altered. It was a fact that he was sure of. Mr. Roe Deer had done something to Braun, though it didn’t seem to have too large of an effect.
A sense of fondness could be felt toward the man. An odd feeling that Braun was only just now discovering. Other than strange softness toward the human, Braun appeared to remain the same.
It was not a big deal. Braun decided to leave it be, and when the show ended, he allowed the humans to return home—Mr. Roe Deer included.
