Summary
After a huge argument with Jax (Felix), Ribbit (Christine) inevitably abstracts, separating the pair for what appears to be eternity.
Christine is shocked to find herself back in the Real World. She successfully escaped the Digital Circus, an achievement only a few people have been able to accomplish. Although she has every right to return to her old life, Christine chooses to re-enter the digital purgatory, motivated by one goal: Save Felix and the others.
However, the minute she is reincarnated as Pomni, CAINE manipulates her memories, causing her to forget her former life as Ribbit and her relationship with Felix.
In return, Jax’s grief has caused him to grow cold and bitter, causing his worse traits to intensify. As he remembers bits and pieces of his former life with Christine/Ribbit, his bitterness only sharpens, twisting into a dangerous mix of longing and self-destruction.
As Pomni slowly regains her memories, she’ll have a decision to make. Will she reveal her identity to Jax, or will she refuse and remain silent to the person who has become unrecognizable?

It’s horribly, horribly quiet.
“I really thought…” Gangle whimpers.
He can feel eyes burning into his back. He doesn’t want to do this right now. Not again.
Not that anyone cares what he wants.
Zooble’s voice bounces into his ear. “What the [BOINK!] was that, Jax?” they seethe.

What’s a little blizzard got on him, anyway? Jax has been drowned, shot, tortured, suffocated, and also literally tossed out of the back of a moving vehicle following a freaky science experiment gone wrong. He will be completely fine.
Or:
After the gang escape the circus, C&A deposits their waking bodies randomly around the city in an attempt to flee legal responsibility. Jax is the last to be found, and in terrible shape.

Summary
A Ragdoll. Made of cloth and stuffing, stabbed and shot like it meant absolutely nothing.
Every other adventure ends with a sliced off limp or a gash that leaves a path of fluff in her wake.
Ragatha learned to fix herself with a needle and thread. Reattaching her eye, or sewing closed a gash in her leg.She'd become accustomed to it.
Possibly too accustomed.
Ragatha tries to hide her brokenness and Pomni chooses to support her. A lovely friendship blooms, but what if Ragatha want's more? Is she willing to deal with going against the rigid plan she holds herself to in order to finally have what she wants ?
