Ciaphas Cain had thought himself rather clever for switching his first deployment as a Commissar from the originally intended Artillery Regiment to the Vacation Planet of Fracterus. He should have known that the universe would hardly let him have such an easy time.
The Emperor, after all, needed a way to bring His will back to that sector. And while His will may be dolled out with hammer and bolter via his Primarchs and his Angels of Death, that does not mean that the ordinary man has no place in his plans, they just had to be....tweaked.

Summary
Monkey D. Luffy has never heard of the One Piece, has never set sail to become a pirate. Rather, his entire life has been spent fighting off monsters that regular humans aren't able to perceive.
Because he's not human—or not entirely, if that goat-man is to believed. Apparently, Luffy's a demigod, a powerful individual with one human parent and another godly one.
Luffy's skeptical, being he's 90% sure he doesn't have parents, but he decides to go along with it anyways. After all, his two brothers, Ace and Sabo, are pretty excited by the whole situation.
Plus, Camp Half-Blood happens to have reaaaaaaaaally good strawberries.

Summary
The East Blue was a destination no one would have expected them to choose. It was also the only place they could go to in order to be safe. The flimsy piece of paper leading Wani flickered in their palm, tugging onward, forward. As if trying to confirm the choice was the right one.
Blue would help. Blue had to help. Wani had to trust the bonds they had forged together in their youth had not sundered throughout the years, even if Wani had not been able to be there for either Blue or Red when Roger died. Even if Whitebeard had denied them any help he could have offered, chained Wani in the brig to make sure they would not go seeking Blue or Red out.
Wani had to hope Blue would believe them they had at least tried.
