Blearily, he opens his eyes — the third one still sticks, and he quickly gives up on trying to open it. His vision is still blurry, but two forms sit on either side of the cot he’s laying on. Both black, one with one red eye and one white eye bisected by a scar, and one with red eyes and a tuft of hair above them.

Summary
Of all the issues that might befall him after a thousand years in chains, Narinder would have put ‘touch aversion due to touch starvation’ nowhere on the list. It was a ridiculous notion that he should not have had to contemplate, let alone suffer the reality of, but it stubbornly remained. What logical sense was there in ‘physical contact being painful and overwhelming due to wanting it too much’? None, that was what.
Narinder is having a problem, and then the Lamb offers a solution. Now he has multiple problems. Some very pleasant problems, in certain cases, but problems nonetheless.

Summary
There are two Siffrins huddled together under the Favor Tree.
One is injured and unconscious. The other is stunned and in a daze. Unfortunately, this means that the neither of them are able to explain what happened.
Odile has some thoughts.
(An Act 6 Two Hats alternative ending where Loop doesn't disappear, Siffrin passes out, and the party ends up encountering the aftermath of the Two Hats fight with no understanding of exactly what they are dealing with. They do their best anyways.)
