This particular situation, which you're 99.999999% positive is some kind of super intense hallucination or drug-induced fever dream, is pushing that ability to the extreme. Because as far as you can tell, you are suddenly in Eiichiro Oda's fictional world of One Piece and being pulled out of a treasure chest by none other than Whitebeard himself and, oh yeah, you're a baby. Like literally an infant... You're just going to have to see where this goes.

Summary
Ace only wanted to be free from that forsaken cult he grew up in, he did not expect the creature being worshipped to be along for the ride or end up in an unfamiliar world. Oh well, he might as well go along. At least the guys who took them in seem nice enough.

She was just a child, but a bought child. And Rosinante couldn’t just throw this one out a window to get rid of her, to get her out and away and safe.
A teenage mermaid, bound and no doubt dehydrated, her arms and throat cuffed and her shark tail tied into an uncomfortable sitting position.
Her eyes, slitted at the pupil and a deep blue, stared back into Rosinante’s own deep red. There was no fear in those eyes, not at him at least.
He was so entranced by those eyes,so caught up in the lingering panic and fear and hurt and resignation and acceptance, that he almost missed his brother’s words, but not the sadistic grin in them.
“So, this is the little Fishman Island seer. I’ve heard some intriguing things about those powers.”

Fate is malleable, but only in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing with it. Or those who can see it.
Rosinante doesn’t know the full future, but Shyarly does. And she’s tired of being chained. Just let her go home.
