Summary
Steve feels like a child on the playground trying to make friends and it’s somehow excruciatingly difficult, but he’s too stubborn to give up. Despite his own embarrassment and the voice in his head whispering he wants nothing to do with you, leave already, Steve keeps pressing. Because he’s stubborn. And prideful. And so lonely that he’d rather talk to someone out here under Hawkins' night sky than stand along the wall inside for another minute.
“What’s your name?” Steve tries, voice light and hopeful.
“Like you care,” the mysterious Myers replies. Unlike Steve’s kind tone, this masked stranger speaks low and monotone, showing clear disinterest.

Summary
Steve didn’t really know where they were going the first time he gave into the impulse to kiss Eddie Munson, was already half convinced it was going to end with him getting decked. Eddie liking guys didn’t mean he was into Steve, no matter what Robin kept suggesting with every arched eyebrow and poorly hidden smirk.
But he’d been staring at Steve’s mouth for almost twenty minutes and Steve wasn’t even taking a hit off the joint they’d been sharing anymore and his eyes were so dark and wide and his lips were all pink and pouty and Steve just had to give it a try.
