Summary
“Man, it’s really coming down out there. Should we be worried?” Jax asked. Kinger shook himself and looked over to notice the snow piling up on the ground, the bushes, the car. The trees were starting to sparkle with fallen crystals.
“Oh, my, a winter wonderland! I wonder if there’ll be any flutterflakes!” Kinger exclaims, excited to see one of his favorite insects.
Jax gives him a look. “…No. I don’t think there are,” he says hollowly.

Kinger’s got a therapist. He’s free of Caine. He has friends that have practically adopted him. But the real world is harder in many ways than the Amazing Digital Circus that follows in his shadow. When Kinger goes on a winter trip with his fellow escaped Circus mates, he gets caught in the snow. Panic and confusion ensue.Bookmarked by SouzouWriter

Summary
Ghost had near a hundred kills under his belt, at a time when most men never even met that many, and he'd slayed just as many monsters on jobs just like this one for Price. It was the last job of the year. It was supposed to be easy. Ghost was supposed to be well on his way back south before the snow started falling. There wasn't supposed to be a sex-starved demon involved. And Ghost certainly wasn't supposed to be bringing it back with him...
... with Ghost's half-demon bastard growing in its belly, if it was to be believed.
Ghost was going to make Price pay him double.

Summary
You were a prototype. Built as a way to test the effectiveness of robotic staff. According to the people that built you, you were a mindless droid meant to preform the basic tasks that they didn't want to pay minimum wage for someone to do. They sent you to some fancy mall to be the janitor near the daycare, testing your abilities before they "make more of you".
You didn't like being called mindless. As far as you could tell, you weren't that different than the humans you saw during the day. You had thoughts and feelings all the same. So why did everyone treat you poorly? They poked and prodded at you, they purposely made messes just to watch you clean them up, they called you mean names while they looked at you, treating you like you weren't able to comprehend them.
Those two working in the daycare were different, though. They said hello to you, helped you clean up if they had the chance, asked you questions and actually cared about your thoughts. The happy one even called you his friend. You felt enamored by them.
You hadn't felt this way before.
