Summary
It's all perfectly plan. It has to be. Has to be pulled off correctly, perfectly like a conductor for the biggest orchestra. Perfect like a match made in heaven. A decade is too long, they know that. He deserved his freedom, his glory. He did mention having a family once though... It was weird in hindsight, they never stepped out of the way to help someone. A new experience. Just a house, it won't get in the way on this plan, weaved with the silk of a gold moth.
Our protagonist escapes with the crystal and a plan made so perfectly between them, Sebastian, and p.AI.nter. A cryptid, a fish experiment gone wrong, and a super intelligent AI. All just wanted to see the world once more, if one more time. Our protagonist decides it's a good idea to find the mother of our beloved fish, and what seemed like a harmless gesture ended up becoming a obstacle to the plan. At least in their eyes.

Summary
Many, many years after the SFoTH and other such deities left the world, the iterators of the large Crossroads and surrounding Factions were left to rot. Literally or not, maybe they can find a way out.
Though, one day, the triple affirmative was broadcasted.
Affirmative that a solution has been found, affirmative that the solution is portable, and affirmative that a technical implementation is possible and generally applicable.
Though, the legendary one who sent this message, Sliver of Vine, had died. They do not die easily.

Edit: Unfortunately editing out the two bad apples from this would be too big a hassle, I wrote this before the revelations. I guess if you read this just count those two as OC's or mentally fill them in with someone else until I have the time and energy to rewrite them out.
