But something had felt wrong since the moment he opened his eyes that morning. He didn’t think of the party with his friends, or the beating he knew he was going to receive, or much of anything. After those few seconds of the pure bliss of when you think everything’s going to be okay when you first wake up, a feeling of deep sorrow plagued his heart, and infected his bloodstream with dread.

“Wait- what?! Are you guys serious? You can’t just make a decision like that without asking me too! I’m also apart of the band!” Eddie screeched, almost bumping into the problem as he jumped up from his seat.
“Chill, Eddie!” Mike tried to calm.
“Awe c’mon! I can’t be that bad, spaghetti-boy,” Richie teased, putting his arm around Eddie’s shoulders and pinching his cheek
“Don’t fucking call me that, creep,” He angerly swatted Richie’s hand away, face quickly turning into a shade of red as he pressed his lips together in a tight frown.

Richie is the newbie that joins the band and the Losers, much to Eddie's dismay. So, Eddie finds a way to cope with his newfound hatred through his pill bottle, and possibly through other substances as well.
