Summary
It's been two weeks, and as much Pyro prays their Sire will come back, they know they're on their own now.
They have to move from the small, empty cabin they were put in. It's freezing, and hunger pains stab in their gut. Pyro doesn't know if vampires can die from starvation, but they don't want to find out.

Summary
“Well, that's a shame,” said an all too familiar, nasal voice behind him, making him snap his head back to the present. He didn’t hear Scott approach, he never did, not even with his heightened senses, and the smell of Drift’s blood seemed to have masked the subtle perfume that always accompanied his arrival.
“What. What do you want,” Avid said shakily as he looked his way, watching the vampire make slow but confident steps towards him.
Scott’s perfect lips pulled into a small, knowing smile as he looked more closely at the scene before him.
“Well, I came over to get our penultimate target down, but it looks like you took care of that for me. You really are the sweetest,” he mused, and Avid felt like he was on the verge of throwing up.
OR
The vampires kill practically everyone in Oakhurst, saving Avid for last. Also Avid is a werewolf because I said so and everything is awful forever, you have been warned.

They are both observing the corpse slumped on the floor. It is Joe's corpse. It is unmoving.
"This sucks," the blue, translucent shade of Joe posits, putting his hands on his hips.

There’s a little green something in the cracks of the road. Grian stares at it, and then he looks at Scar, who is humming cheerfully while he rummages in his bag, and then Grian looks back to the little plant.
Grian looks at Scar again. He takes a step closer to the plant. Scar, blissfully, does not notice.
Something fungal bubbles at the back of Grian’s throat.
