Carbuncle was given one job: Find a King of Kings from one world and bring him to theirs. He hadn’t expected it to result in this. This being a very Angry™ Glaive who absolutely did not agree to any of this.

Summary
Noctis never recovers from the Marilith attack, thus leaving Bahamut no other choice but to bestow upon Carbuncle a simple job: summon a King of Kings from an alternative timeline. How was Carbuncle supposed to know that such a seemingly easy task would turn out to be anything but?
The Eos those summoned by Carbuncle wake up to is similar to their own, but different enough to leave some — more than others — floundering. Do they choose to continue their destiny, or will they fight fate to restore the light another way?

“Strange, that.”
“Hm?” Clive hums over the rim of the wineskin, wiping his mouth before turning to hand it to Cid who takes a few long swallows, handing it back once he’s done for Clive to re-cap.
“Cause you’ve followed every order I’ve given, just thought you were a beta who was too used to military life.” The air shifts and Cid’s scent changes, it’s much heavier, the musk pulling through above the fruity notes and making Clive’s skin tingle.
“Cid-”
Clive takes a step back when Cid takes one toward him. Cid’s tail perks back up, swaying behind him slowly. “Clive.”

Thirteen years ago Clive Rosfield, eldest omega son of King Elwin Rosfield was abducted. Now, he's on the auction block to be sold to a new Master when Cid catches sight of him.
This has dark themes of past non-con. Everything between these two will be consensual and at Clive's speed. There are no plans for it to be explicitly shown but it is pretty explicitly discussed that this is Clive's past.
I am including A/B/O dynamics as well as a very small sliver of the population also presents as either a Dominant or submissive. These boys are just very lucky, or unlucky in Clive's case.

He struggles wildly. Animal in a cage. Cornered and outnumbered. Omegas are rare. In their family even more so as they are coming from a line of a Dominant. Betas and alphas rule their dynamics. Only five instances there had been omegas in Rosfield lineage. One being almost a legend. Rosfield omegas are remembered to be extremely coveted and terribly ferocious.
But Clive does not feel either.
He is terrified to death.
