Summary
It's said that it started with the crows. That's not wrong, not right. There has always been rebellion, always been the hunt for truth. The Crows simply drew it into the light. No one knows the name of the girl who let them loose into the Kings kingdom, made a pact with the birds no one else had dared approach. It's simply known that in hours she attacked she killed a dozen high ranking men. She injured ever so many more.
The Crows are said to have started the war. But that isn't right.
It started with a child being traded for peace. It started with the Dark Lord desperately trying to bring Ra's Al Ghul's cruelty to light. But he was ignored.
Long before the Crows, there was a child who became an adult who fought for safety. Not for themselves, but for their world. The Dark Lord has a strict moral code. When a child-for 14 is a child, even if the girl wishes to deny it-they are not left to fend for themselves.
When The Dark Lord is accused of stealing the Emerald Kings Princess-his heir-he gladly admits to it. The girl is protected.
Ra's Al Ghul does not give up easily.
The Crow Child wishes for freedom. The Unkillable Queen wishes for peace. The Monster? She has a mission. -
