Summary

Summary
A rewriting of the story of Veilguard helping Rook and Taash find themselves and giving them and the story some of the depth they deserve. There will be some divergence in how events play out in the main story, but nothing that changes the main story as a whole.
I am but a humble fan who wants to see more than what we were given, so I will over invest myself.

Rook swears she sees the qunari’s pupils reduce to slits before an inhuman, draconic growl emits from her throat.
“Fuck you.”
Rook hears Harding’s disappointed sigh and Bellara’s sharp inhale as Taash palms her face, lifting her head slightly before smashing it back against the stone, turning her whole world black.

Summary
When Shanks and his crew first arrive at the quiet little fishing village where Vice Admiral Garp is rumored to spend his vacation time, there’s a kid on the dock who waves so enthusiastically at their incoming ship that he slips off the damp boards and topples into the water. Instantly, two smaller kids (who definitely weren’t waving) yelp and jump after him, grabbing the flailing kid’s arms in an effort to drag him towards dry land.
It’s funny, but not so funny Shanks doesn’t feel kinda bad, so he leaps down to help.
Which is how he meets nine year old Monkey D. Luffy, and his adopted six year old brothers, Ace and Sabo.
