Popstar is a strange little planet, a cartoon world in a horrifying and deadly universe, home to some of the most powerful creatures alive. And the largest population are the simple and mostly pacifist creatures called Waddle Dees.
With no mouth, a language most other creatures don't understand, and being seen as easy labor, life has been very strange to these creatures. And while many re content now, it started in a much different way

Basically, Bandana Dee was brainwashed by the beast pack instead of King Dedede and is now a bad guy. But his kindness is still there, especially for the ‘waddle dees’ of this forgotten land

Summary
Scouring the land of Dreamland for possible threats, Meta Knight stumbles upon a rift in the space-time continuum and investigates. It should be fine, right?
When Captain Vul puts a baby-like Meta Knight into Bandana Waddle Dee, King Dedede, and Kirby's care, the gang realizes it isn't fine whatsoever.
They do their best to look after him while the Meta-Knights hunt for a cure.
